Over the last 25 years, Jen Tate has had many adventures, including, but not limited to:

  • A stint at Starbucks

  • A Creative Writing degree

  • A year at Sesame Street

  • A Media & Education degree

  • Writing in Silicon Valley

  • Extreme costuming whenever possible

  • Executive Directing a family

  • Executive Directing a nonprofit (at the same time)

  • Karaoke, karaoke, karaoke!!

Her latest adventure—making a documentary—feels like the perfect combination of everything she’s done so far, and has only been possible through massive support from her family and tribe.

Jenny Kincade studied history at Columbia College and animation at The School of Visual Arts in New York.

She is a character and production designer for commercial animation and children’s book writer and illustrator. 

She lives in Portland, Oregon with her partner, son and 2 dogs.
